Delete your Pakaya account
You can delete your Pakaya account and all data stored with it on our servers at any time. An account is optional — if you never created one, nothing is stored on our servers and there is nothing to delete.
Option 1: in the app (immediate)
- Open Pakaya and sign in.
- Open Settings → Advanced from the menu on the home screen.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and its data are deleted right away.
Option 2: by email (without the app)
Send an email from the address you registered with to contact@pakaya.app with the subject "Account deletion". We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email. We only act on requests sent from the account's own address, so nobody can delete your account on your behalf.
What is deleted
- your email address, your password if one was set (stored hashed) and the link to Google or Apple; for Sign in with Apple we also revoke Pakaya's access in Apple — if that fails, we show you how to revoke it yourself,
- all synced content: plans, checklists and their items, notes, templates and participant details,
- technical sync diagnostics linked to your account.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to keep your data, export it to a file in the app before deleting the account.
What is not deleted
- Data on your devices — Pakaya also keeps your data locally so it works offline. Remove it by uninstalling the app or clearing its data (in the web version: clearing site data in your browser).
- Crash reports — technical error reports (error type, app context — never your email or the content of your lists) may carry your account's random identifier. They are deleted automatically after 90 days at the latest.
- Feedback you sent from the app — "Send feedback" sends us an email, stored in our feedback mailbox for up to 12 months (and in the email provider's logs for 30 days). It is not part of the account. Ask at contact@pakaya.app and we delete it.
